Seagate Backup Plus Slim External USB 3.0 2TB Hard Drive Review
AMD RADEON HD4890 CrossFire on AMD 790FX Platform - AMD RADEON HD4890 CrossFire on AMD 790FX Platform
Fri, July 17 2009 | 6:44PM | PermaLink Feedback?
After a few first timid steps into the direction of multi-GPUs with all the arguing about which strategies would be better and both ATI and nVidia coming out with evermore creative ways of putting their label on things and fighting the world of game developers for support it looks like finally there is a real benefit for high-end games using CrossFire or else SLI. Some of the games still do not scale in a 1:1 fashion but the trend is there and some 80% increase in overall performance from the use of two cards is certainly something to write home about.
