FIC Has the Systems You Are Looking For at Computex

First International Computer, Inc. (FIC), an OEM/ODM leader, is excited about the opportunity to showcase our diverse range of high quality products at Computex Taipei 2003, from September 22 - 26.  One of the major, international, IT tradeshows each year, Computex Taipei provides companies with the opportunity to present and sell their products to the international IT market.  Therefore, FIC is happy to once again be a major participant in this event.

Started in 1980, FIC made a name for itself as a producer of motherboards.  Today, FIC is still manufacturing a variety of advanced motherboards, as well as an extensive line of leading-edge form factor systems.  These include a variety of form factor types, including Extreme Form Factors, Small Form Factors and Consumer Electronics Form Factors.

Extreme Form Factors (XFF) – The compact cube design and feature packed nature of XFFs make them ideal for gaming and multimedia enthusiasts.  FIC’s Condor Cube is definitely a gamer’s PC, with an Intel P4 865G platform and high-end AGP expansion. This system is ultra quiet, producing less than 24 db of noise.  The Ice Cube is a compact, barebones system with an ATX motherboard, based on the Intel 865G chipset.  It has overall dimensions of just 292 x 200 x 186 mm and a lightweight aluminum construction.

Small Form Factors (SFF) – With a chassis volume of 13L down to 3L and all the power of a standard PC, SFFs are ideal when space is limited.  The Solomon has a tool-less chassis, a modular internal design, a multi-function, integrated front I/O board, the option of two types of rear brackets, and an ingenious new thermal design that reduces noise to less than 30 dBA.  FIC’s Sheba has an overall chassis volume of just 6 liters, a cutting edge thermal design, an acoustic level of only 28 dBA, and supports an Intel 865G/ICH5 processor.

Consumer Electronics Form Factor (CEFF) – An integration of consumer electronics and PCs, CEFFs are the perfect addition to any home.  The Media Adapter is a breakthrough in multimedia products, linking your home computer with your home entertainment center and allowing you to share, access, and enjoy virtually all your digital media anywhere in your home, through your wired or wireless home network.   A collaboration between FIC and Intel, My Room PC’s intuitive consumer electronics design and multi-media functionality combines a powerful PC, superior home theatre, and exceptional audio system into a compact, all-in-one design.

FIC form factor systems are just one of the many products that will be featured at Computex Taipei 2003.  For more information about other FIC products, such as our mainboards, graphics cards, mobile solutions, and servers, go to www.fic.com.tw, write to mkt@fic.com.tw or visit us in one week at Computex 2003.  FIC will be located at Booth # F225, in Exhibition Hall 2 of the Taipei World Trade Center.  First-hand demonstrations of many of these innovative products will be available.
