PNY Technologies, Inc. today announced the addition of three new Verto(TM) graphics cards based on the NVIDIA GeForce 8 Series of GPUs. The Verto GeForce 8600 GTS, Verto GeForce 8600 GT and Verto GeForce 8500 GT were built for Microsoft Windows Vista Premium and fully support Microsoft DirectX 9 (DX9) and DirectX 10 (DX10) for current and next-generation PC gaming. Each model is HDCP capable to allow playback of encrypted HD content such as Blu-ray Disc and HD-DVD movies when connected to HDCP-compliant displays.

"Our latest additions to PNY's Verto lineup offer all the benefits of NVIDIA's GeForce 8 Series architecture without sacrificing performance at an attractive price point," said Nicholas Mauro, senior marketing manager for PNY Technologies consumer graphics cards and memory. "A wider range of casual gamers and home PC users can now play the latest DX9 and future DX10 games or watch the latest blockbuster movies in full 1080p high-definition-right at their home PC."
