PNY TECHNOLOGIES' STANDARD and OVERCLOCKED DDR3 MEMORY MODULES AVAILABLE NOW for OEMs and SYSTEM BUILDERS

Following the recent introduction of its new solid state drives (SSDs), PNY Technologies®, Inc. continues to expand its system memory and storage product lines with a full lineup of DDR3 system memory modules. Standard PC3-8500 and PC3-10600 DDR3 samples will be available to OEMs and system builders in capacities up to 2GB, as well as limited quantities of PNY's overclocked XLR8-brand DDR3 at the 2007 MemCon show in San Jose, July 17-19.

PNY is working with leading platform providers to ensure their DDR3 system memory supports the latest motherboard chipsets, such as the P35 and upcoming X38 from Intel. These platforms are required for the use of the latest generation dual and quad core processors, which require system memory that can provide increased bandwidth. PNY's DDR3 portfolio features faster speeds and increased bandwidth as well as higher densities, decreased power usage and decreased heat output to optimally operate in the newest platforms.

"The introduction of PNY's new system memory lineup solidifies our position to support the industry's transition to DDR3," said Nicholas Mauro, senior marketing manager, PNY Technologies. "DDR3 is an instrumental component in the overall system design that allows the next generational leap in system performance. PC enthusiasts will experience cutting edge computing resulting from DDR3's huge bandwidth increases that are not possible with DDR2."

Building upon their ability to drive technology in the mobile storage category, PNY's recently announced SSD offering includes commercial and industrial options as well as capacities up to 128GB for its 2.5" version and 64GB for its 1.8" drive. PNY is currently shipping samples of its 2.5" SSD in both standard and high speeds up to 32GB in capacity to OEMs and system builders. End users can purchase PNY SSDs from leading e-tailers in August of this year.
