ASUS Unveils World’s First Overclocked
GeForce 8800GTS 512 Graphics Card

-- Experience close to 10% performance increase with

ASUS®, worldwide leader in component and notebook design and manufacturing, today released the world’s first overclocked graphics cards based on NVIDIA®’s highly anticipated GeForce® 8800GTS 512 graphics processing unit (GPU) - the EN8800GTS TOP/HTDP/512M and the EN8800GTS/HTDP/512M. With overclocked stream processors, the EN8800GTS TOP gives users a 7% boost in performance, creating a feature-rich Direct®X 10 gaming and multimedia playback experience. Thanks to the GPU’s 65nm manufacturing process, the new ASUS graphics cards consume less power while still delivering blistering fast graphics performance.

Incredible Out-Of-Box Performance Upgrade
The ASUS EN8800GTS TOP features factory-overclocked clock speeds to guarantee a superior user experience: the core clock is increased from 650MHz to 740MHz, the memory clock from 1940MHz to 2070MHz, and the shader clock from 1625MHz to 1800MHz. In 3DMark06 benchmark, these unparalleled performance gains improve the EN8800GTS TOP’s performance from 10977 to 11782, representing a 7% boost over the reference design. This means PC gamers can enjoy better graphics on screen and a more immersive gaming experience.

Overclock the Shader Clock with New SmartDoctor
ASUS garners another world’s first by providing an overclocking utility that is able to tweak the Shader Clock on GPUs with SmartDoctor. With this application, users can overclock the Shader Clock and Engine Clock independently, achieving performance boosts of more 10% without having to reboot or re-flash their BIOS.

PCI Express 2.0 and 512MB Onboard Memory for Best Graphical Output
With support for both PCI Express and PCI Express 2.0, the ASUS EN8800GTS 512 series enable users to enjoy twice the data rate of the popular serial bus resulting in an upgraded gaming experience.

Exclusive ASUS GamerOSD for Versatile Graphics Usage
Both the ASUS EN8800GTS TOP/HTDP/512M and the EN8800GTS/HTDP/512M come with the exclusive ASUS GamerOSD, a utility that unleashes the true power of ASUS graphics cards. This feature enables GPU overclocking from on-screen display during game play, allowing users real-time performance upgrades when they need them most. Additionally, it provides users with the option to record live gaming action or live broadcasting over the Internet.

The ASUS EN8800GTS TOP/HTDP/512M and the EN8800GTS/HTDP/512M graphics cards are currently available through ASUS authorized dealers in North America. For more information on the products, go to more information on where to buy, visit
