AMD Athlon XP 2600 System
Adopts TwinMOS PC2700
September 10, 2002, Taipei The TwinMOS PC2700 memory module
has once again been given the honor of being the designated test memory module
for AMD’s newest CPU, the Athlon XP 2600 system. This computer system is
equipped with TwinMOS PC2700 memory modules, raising the system to DDR 333MHz
performance, while at the same time the memory modules’ full-loading operation
highlights the system’s high speed and stability.
The testing platform used by the
AMD Athlon XP 2600 was the specially selected Epox EP-8K3A+ mainboard from Epox
Computer Company. The TwinMOS PC2700 memory modules were chosen as the
designated memory modules from among the products of eight well-known memory
manufacturers, which were also submitted for testing. After passing strict
testing and burn-in on an earlier version of the Athlon CPU, the TwinMOS PC2700
received more outstanding test data. This clearly shows that the TwinMOS PC2700
memory modules can pass the rigorous testing of full-loading, high speed
