Quake III Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS)
that revolutionized gaming as we know it. Using multiple light sources and
having graphics textures that can fill videocards, even after 3 years it's still
able to bring a cutting edge system to its knees.

Conclusions:
The Albatron GeForce4 Ti4600 is a fast videocard, that's
a given when you're dealing with a GeForce4 Ti.
What we were most pleased about was the low price tag. At $490 CDN ($305 US) the Albatron card is
one of the least expensive Ti4600 video cards around!
Case modders will
love the card and its awesome looking blue PCB.
As mentioned above, the performance of the Albatron Ti4600 was
excellent, there isn't a single game the card can't handle.
It's quite interesting to see in general, overclocking doesn't really produce any noticeable
performance gains unlike older generation cards.
Even with an AthlonXP
2000+ we're CPU limited! It's pretty easy for the Albatron Ti4600 to play
at 1600x1200 in almost every game.
It would have been
nice to have two DVI ports on the videocard so users can take advantage of
two DVI based LCD monitors. All I can suggest to Albatron is, please bundle a
DVI to Analog converter to allow for two analog monitors. It's the little
things that count!
If you're looking for a high performance videocard, give the Albatron
GeForce4 Ti4600 a try. You'll like what you see!
