MSI has gone with a newer version of the Award BIOS for their motherboards that no other manufacturer seems to be using. It's organized a bit different but I wouldn't say it's more difficult to use. All the normal tweaks we'd come to expect from MSI are there; from CAS Latency adjustments, Memory Frequency, CPU Multiplier control and a whole slew of voltages that can be manipulated.

Here we have all the usual memory tweaks we've come to love CAS Latency, SDRAM Burt Length, Command Rate and memory frequency. Even though the KT400 doesn't support 400 MHz memory operation officially, there still is an option for 400 MHz memory operation.

Again nothing out of the ordinary here. Since the GeForce4 Ti4600 we're using is only 4x AGP compatible we can't select 8x AGP.

Here we see the tweaks we expect on a good overclocking friendly motherboard. FSB can be adjusted from 100-280 MHz in 1 MHz increments. For those who have unlocked CPU's, you also have full multiplier control.

Vcore goes up to 1.7V (for T-Bred processors), DDR Voltage can be raised to 2.8V and AGP goes to 1.8V. There's a new setting in the KT4 Ultra that we've never seen before and that's Termination Voltage. Here we have the options of Auto, 1.27 or 1.29. Since we don't know how to play with these settings we just left that at default.
