* - Because of time constraints, we were not able
to include the AthlonXP 2400+ in every benchmark.
** - The Albatron enables a
3/4 memory divider (354 MHz memory speed) by default when
running on a 133 MHz FSB!
SysMark2002 is more of an extension of SysMark2001
rather then a whole new benchmark. The applications used during testing have
been updated and most importantly for AMD users, the new SysMark2002 uses the
Windows Media Encoder 7.1 which supports the AthlonXP's SSE
instructions.
Here we see that the Pentium 4 is leading the pack
by quite a bit in the Internet Content portion of the benchmark. Please keep in
mind that SysMark2002 is actually written more closely for P4's then AMD
processors! AMD takes the lead under Office Productivity with 178
Sysmarks.
