The full-size ATX board comes baring three DDR DIMM slots which can support up to 3GB of DDR RAM, at speeds of up to PC3200. Standard onboard connectivity includes Serial ATA/Serial ATA RAID as well as an additional IDE controller, IEEE 1394 Firewire, Gigabit LAN, VIA's new Envy24 PT 7.1 sound system, and of course Chaintech's RadEX MOSFET cooling system.

These days appearance seems to play an ever increasing role in consumer purchases, and so I'm sure that's why the Chaintech Zenith ZNF3-150 is spruced up with matching orange slots. Additionally, all exposed metal around the I/O ports is gold plated; just makes it look more attractive doesn't it?

The layout of the Zenith ZNF3-150 board is very good, and there aren't any visible obstructions that we could see. For example, the main IDE and ATX power connectors are located just to the right of the DIMM slots, and all the bracket headers and accessory ports are situated at the edge of the motherboard which helps make wire management a little simpler.

While most things were rosy as we looked the board over, it was pretty obvious that the clear CMOS jumper is too close to the IDE header, making it difficult to grasp.
