Unreal
Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award
winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound
and game play are taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs
the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a
DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of the game.
Don't be
too surprised that at 1024x768 the Radeon 9800XT gets the better of the 6800GT.
At this resolution we're system limited, and the frame rates between these two
cards are within the margin of error. Lets see what happens when the resolution
is turned up.
At
1600x1200 (flyby tests) there's nothing even close to the Albatron 6800GT. In
fact, we're able to destroy the 200 fps barrier with a bit of overclocking,
amazing!
