3DMark05 is the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark graphics benchmarking series. It is the first benchmark to require DirectX9.0 compliant hardware with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher!

In 3DMark05, we see that the Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI does a lot better and is near the top of its class. SLI performance of the two GeForce 6600GT's is slower than the MSI motherboard though.

AquaMark3 is a powerful tool to determine reliable information about the gaming performance of computer systems. Because the benchmark extensively utilizes DirectX9, DirectX8 and DirectX7 functionality, it represents the requirements of typical gaming applications in 2003 and 2004.

We see similar results here in AquaMark, the Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI does very well using either the lone X800XT or two 6600GT in SLI, but is considerably slower than the MSI Neo4 board.
