In this review we'll be testing out
the ECS RS400-A motherboard, which supports 800MHz FSB LGA775 Intel Pentium 4 processors and offers
up PCI Express functionality. 75% Rating:
Sandra is
designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system as well as the
individual components. The results are also purely theoretical and may not
represent real world performance.

The
SiSoft Sandra numbers are in line with what we would expect, memory bandwidth is
a bit low considering we're using DDR2 RAM.
SuperPI
calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching
benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that
can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1
Million digits and 19 iterations.

The ECS RS400-A is up to 4 seconds slower than the
fastest platforms in Super Pi. Considering the memory bandwidth numbers this is
not overly surprising.
