Here in the DRAM configuration settings for the ABIT AN8-SLI, we find all the usual
memory timings we would expect as well as a few extra. Timings like Row Cycle
Time and Read to Write Delay are just as important as CAS Latency time. Tweakers
will definitely be very happy here.
Do not let the different colours of the next screen startle you, we're
still in the same AN8-SLI BIOS.
With ABITs 'OC Guru'
users can adjust the motherboard clock speed from 200-410 MHz in 1 Mhz increments, and
Athlon64 users have access to lower multipliers as well. CPU voltage goes as
high as 1.95V (CPU core voltage and CPU Ref Voltage combined), DDR memory voltage
goes as high as 3.5V (DDR SDRAM voltage plus DDR Ref. Voltage), VTT as
high as 1.75V, NF4 voltage as high as 1.8V and HyperTransport Voltage as high
as 1.35V. Definitely some hardcore voltage settings here folks, just make sure
you know what you are doing otherwise you could burn out a few components.
Seriously.

pcstats has upgraded its test platform with a
couple of 74gb western digital WD740
Raptor hard drives, replacing the trusty 40GB WD IDE HDDs as test drives.
Please keep that in mind when viewing the office and disk benchmarks.
