At a resolution of 1024x768, no cards are stressed. We
have to turn the resolution up to 1600x1200 before the videocards start to
separate themselves. Here the Gigabyte GV-RX18L256V-B trails a single GeForce
7800GT by quite a bit. ATi has a good track record of extracting more
performance with subsequent driver updates and it is safe to assume that the
Gigabyte GV-RX18L256V-B and its Radeon X1800 XL brethren will only get faster in
time.
