Sandra is designed to test the theoretical power of
a complete system as well as the individual components. The results are also
purely theoretical and may not represent real world performance.

Memory bandwidth numbers from the Socket AM2
platform are higher than what the Pentium D could do even with the same memory.
Bandwidth is about 1.3GB/s higher than what a Socket 939 Athlon64 gets with
conventional DDR memory.
PCMark05 is a premium tool for measuring both
normal home use and simple 3D performance of the latest PC hardware. There are
11 system tests - each one is designed to represent a certain type of PC usage.
By running these tests, PCMark05 stresses the components in a similar manner as
they are stressed in normal home usage.

PCMark05 numbers are pretty good, the overall score
does not move much because the CPU speed is actually clocked near stock. The
memory score gets a slight boost which is nice to see.
3DMark05 is best suited for the latest generation
of DirectX9.0 graphics cards. It is the first benchmark to require a DirectX9.0
compliant hardware with support for Pixel Shaders 2.0 or higher! By combining
high quality 3D tests, CPU tests, feature tests, image quality tools, and much
more, 3DMark05 is a premium benchmark for evaluating the latest generation of
gaming hardware.

3DMark05's overall number stays the same but
overclocking the memory allows the setup to break 8000 points with a single
GeForce 7800GTX which is pretty good. The CPU score jumps nicely due to the
higher bandwidth which is great to see.
