Business Winstone 2004 runs real applications
through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete
these activities to produce its performance scores.
Content Creation Winstone 2004 is a system-level, application-based benchmark
that measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based,
32-bit, content creation applications in Windows XP.

The Office Productivity numbers from the ECS RS480-M are slightly lower than
that of the nForce4 powered motherboards. The ECS platform is in line with what
we saw from an earlier ATi RS480-based motherboard.

The processor and bandwidth results offer
nothing surprising. Looks like ATi tweaked the silicon a bit, the bandwidth
numbers are about 100MB/s faster than the results for the MSI RS480M2-IL
motherboard.
SuperPI
calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching
benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that
can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1
Million digits and 19 iterations.
