Business
Winstone 2004 runs real applications through a series of scripted activities and
uses the time a PC takes to complete these activities to produce its performance
scores.
Content
Creation Winstone 2004 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that
measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based, 32-bit,
content creation applications in Windows XP.

The ASRock AM2V890-VSTA motherboard
excels in the Office Productivity benchmarks, both in Business Winstone and
content creation. This underscores the point that you do not need a high-end
motherboard to run office applications, do word processing, surf the Internet,
or shoot out an e-mail. Motherboards such as the ASRock AM2V890-VSTA are
the reason why mainstream systems are so popular with students and businesses
alike.

Sandra is
designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system as well as the
individual components. The results are also purely theoretical and may not
represent real world performance.

If you
had any doubts about how an older chipset would perform under load, these Sandra
scores should put your mind to rest. The ASRock AM2V890-VSTA has a ton of
bandwidth available, and as expected the Athlon64 FX-62 processor numbers are
nice and high. To be realistic, it is very unlikely that this board would ever
be used with a FX-62 processor, but we have used it for the purposes of
these tests so the results are comparable to other systems which have passed
through the PCSTATS labs.
SuperPI
calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching
benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that
can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1
Million digits and 19 iterations.

times are nice and low. The mainstream oriented ASRock AM2V890-VSTA
motherboard is certainly not hindering these mathematical calculations.
