Despite the handicap of using a single core Socket 754 AMD Athlon64 3200+ processor, the Albatron KI51PV-754 performs reasonably well in all of these office and productivity oriented applications. About half of the applications in WorldBench 5 show moderate separation between each of the test platforms and the Albatron KI51PV-754. The remainder are rather more spit, with the Core 2 Duo based Asus P5N32-SLI taking the cake. It is slightly unfair to compare a socket 754 based PC against such cutting edge systems, but owing to the lack of a current VIA Mini-ITX system its the best we can offer, and it does put the performance of the Ki51PV-754 system behind a realistic frame.

So, what does all this mean?
