The MSI P35 Platinum has a lot of memory timing
adjustments as you can see below. There are the usual CAS Latency, to RAS to CAS
delay and RAS Precharge settings.
To enable CPU clock multipler adjustments, Intel EIST
must be disabled! If it is not, the CPU ratio option will not
be available.
MSI's P35 Platinum allows you to adjust the
Front Side Bus from 266-1000 MHz in 1 MHz increments. There are a whole host of
DDR2 memory timing speeds (533, 638, 667, 800, 866, 1067MHz). The maximum CPU
voltage is 2.0625V. Memory can be adjusted to 3.3V, VTT 1.55V, Northbridge
1.65V, Southbridge I/O 1.8V and Southbridge core to 1.15V.
Prelude to Benchmarks
The details
of how the MSI P35 Platinum motherboard test system was configured for
benchmarking, including the specific hardware, software drivers, operating
system and benchmark versions are indicated below. In the second column are the
general specs for the reference platforms this Intel P35 Express based system is
to be compared against. Please take a moment to look over PCSTATS test system
configurations before moving on to the individual benchmark results.
