While Call of Juarez pulls off all the classic FPS mechanisms with aplomb, it also features interesting variations that give it the air and feel of a true Western movie. The player has the genuine impression of being a pistol-packing hero in an age when armed confrontation was the daily grind for many adventurers. The Developers have incorporated a classic shooting system as well as two extra game modes.

Call of Juarez had some strange benchmarking results with our ASUS EAH3870 X2 in both single and Crossfire modes - while the low resolution results were very promising, they quickly capitulated as the resolution and quality settings were increased. We suspect a combination of drivers and profiles for Call of Juarez to be the culprit, since at 1600 X 1200 resolution and beyond Crossfire mode became increasingly slower than single-card performance.
