While Call of Juarez pulls off all the classic FPS mechanisms with aplomb, it also features interesting variations that give it the air and feel of a true Western movie. The player has the genuine impression of being a pistol-packing hero in an age when armed confrontation was the daily grind for many adventurers. The Developers have incorporated a classic shooting system as well as two extra game modes.

The directX10 game Call of Juarez is tough on all videocards. Focusing specifically on the videocards here, the ASUS EAH4550 falls behind the older Radeon 2600XT at 1024x728 (albeit both post poor results of under 60FPS). When the resolution is bumped up to 1600x1200 the ASUS EAH4550 pulls ahead of the entry level videocards with a speed of 7FPS. Not great, but about par with a Geforce 8600GTS.
