The Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition still can't quite catch up the Core 2 Duo processors in 3DMark Vantage's processor test, although given the $80 premium on the Intel processors this isn't so bad. However Futuremark's 3DMark Vantage's test suite still favors multi-core processors, so those take the lead in this test.

3DMark06 also makes use of multiple cores in its CPU benchmarking, so the Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition is both behind the quad and triple core processors, as well as the Intel Core 2 Duo processors.
