Across the board the 750GB Seagate Momentus XT SSHD sees a very nice improvement in the PCMark Vantage HDD sub-test over the 1st Gen. 500GB Momentus XT. How much of this gain is due to the improved SATA III interface vs. doubling the SLC NAND flash is difficult for us to say with certainty... Please note that for both 1st Gen. and 2nd Gen. Momentus XT drives, the test results are from the fourth sequential run of PCMark Vantage since the benchmark scores improve with each iteration before evening out after 3-4 runs.
