Quake
III v1.17 Demo1
Settings: Using my .cfg, 32Bit colour, detail
slider on full, gibs on, marks off, coloured lighting off, vertex lighting.
640x480 = 210 FPS
800x600 = 193 FPS
1024x768 = 141 FPS
Now, it's become
painfully obvious that I need something faster than a Geforce 2 GTS to benchmark
these faster and faster CPU's with. The 1024x768 scores show that the Geforce2
GTS needs more bandwidth so that it can receive more data from the CPU at a
quicker rate. Were this supplied it would equal higher FPS at 1024x768 and
beyond using 32Bit colour.
3D Mark 2000 v1.1
Default settings: 1024*768@16bit, with D3D
transform and lighting
8001! Very nice
score, but once again a faster video card would definitely yield an even greater
result.
