When the AMD Athlon processor
was first released, back in the days of the AMD Irongate 751 chipset, a lot of
people waited for ABIT to release... 79% Rating:
We have spend quite a bit of time
with the KA7. As a matter of fact it's our new motherboard of choice for one of
our test bed systems replacing the aging and badly designed ASUS K7M. We can't
think how this motherboard can get any better. It's very well designed, it
performs admirably and it's rock solid whether you are over clocking or not.
The KA7's over clocking features coupled with the Soft Menu III make for a combination that's very hard to beat. Throw in the fact that it's backed by a three year warranty, and the frequent ABIT BIOS updates, not just for bug fixes, but to also introduce new features. The manual is as always top notch, and heck you even get a free operating system with it. What more could you possibly want. You really can't go wrong purchasing this board.
