The OSD (on screen display) has the usually
assortment of options that you might expect to see on just about any CRT
monitor... However the most notable additions are a vertical and horizontal focus option, features
you may not be familiar with. This feature allows the user to manually adjust the focus of the display
in two planes - vertical and horizontal.
It would be a bit difficult to adjust the display
perfectly every time the need arises, so EPI have conveniently added a one-touch
solution. The "Auto" button
auto adjusts the whole kit into
perfect unison. This comes in very handy, and the picture can become significantly out of whack when changing resolutions, or connecting up
a laptop to the display for example.
The shuttle knobb integrated
on the front bezel makes navigating the 14 or so option screens fast and easy. The knobb rotates, and by pressing
it in you can make the selection.
Easily accessible controls via the shuttle Knobb and
auto adjust button make keeping the display
in tune a simple task. The only other control
on the clean looking bezel is the power switch and
activity LED.
So
how do all these features stack up, is this display
worth getting?
