Now the scores are really strange in the Q3 area. They were all run on Demo 1 in the various color and texture depths and resolutions. This is a sweet gamers card for the money, the frame rates are pretty good compared to the lower end cards out there. The 3D Mark's came out close to what I expected. The Detonator 2.08 drivers did give a boost at points, though nothing to call Mom about. Most of the scores speak for themselves so I am not going to ramble on about them.

Revelator Glasses, Pimping and Conclusion

On to the Revelator 3D Glasses. I have to admit, I originally thought they were a bit odd looking when I took them out of the box. Their performance was far from their appearance I assure you. One issue I ran into, and I am sure most of you who get them will, is the refresh rates. You need to have a refresh of 100hz or better at the desired resolution. When I first went to try them out in Viper Racing, my refresh was at 60hz, and boy did that not go well! Everything was flashing here and there like a damn slide show.

 

 I jumped into TNT Tweak me up and jacked the refresh to 100hz. Back into Viper and these glasses are great! It feels like you can reach into the screen, and the effect is mind blowing let me tell you! One downside is they will only fly in Direct 3D games, no OpenGL support. No big though, these things are tight. I played all my D3D games for hours on end just to get my fix! One bad thing is trying to walk around after wearing them for that length of time, and yeah they can make you sick to your stomach when you aren't used to them. All in all this is one kick ass bundle from the killer people at Elsa.
