The benefits of moving to a flatscreen are more than just power savings. At only 25watts during
normal operation, and 3 watts during standby, the 570S TFT is a power-sensitive, and produces drastically
less heat than a similarly sized CRT. I also find it
is a bit easier on the eyes after many hours of computer work.
Radiation issues, however slight they might be with CRT displays are also completely negated with

The display has a few other features which might be of
interest. The most notable being the Kensington security lock on the back.
Lets face it, flatscreen's are very expensive and very portable. Locking
them down may be a good step, so it's good to see that
Samsung included this feature which normally only shows up on items
like notebooks.
