Nvidia took the gaming community by storm when they originally released the first GPU, the original GeForce. Here was a chipset that ran at a measly 120 MHz...
The LeadTek WinFast GeForce 2 GTS has definitely left us with a good taste in our mouths. It's a solid product, and an excellent performer. The overclocking could had been a bit better, especially considering the quality RAM and the huge heatsink, but then again, we can't really put too much weight on that. If the video card didn't perform as well as it does, and it became necessary to over clock it, then it would be a bigger consideration. As far as the issues we had with the AGP 4x mode, we are going to give LeadTek the benefit of the doubt, as we had similar problems with GeForce 2 video cards from different manufacturers. Maybe NVidia's six month cycles are not long enough for thorough compatibility testing. Of course, that's a can of worms that we won't open on this review.
