If an LCD display could ever be called 'sexy,' this is the
one display that would be it! |
The stand
bolts on to the back of the actual display panel and can be removed if a wall
mount is at hand. It would be really nice to see the manufacturers include even
a small unarticulated wall mount with the display but sadly they do not.
While the
180T has a large face it is not that heavy and with the addition of a built in
lazy Suzan is very easy to rotate left and right. The small hole in the base is
designed so that the wires from the panel can be neatly threaded through and out
to the computer.
Unlike a
previous Samsung display we looked at which had an overly stiff forward and
backward tilt mechanism, the 180T has a very stable and firm feel to it. For
example, if you tilt the display back, you don't find gravity doing its work and
righting the display since the joint is nicely tensioned.
