The Awesome 8RDA+ BIOS:

Epox knows that the BIOS is the sanctuary of any overclocker and the 8RDA+ has all the options we have come to expect from Epox. Well just read on and you'll see what I'm talking about! =)

The BIOS on all nForce2 motherboards look very similar and here we see Epox falls in line as well. FSB adjustments, memory timings and AGP options are all located in the Advanced Chipset Features. Epox however separates itself from the pack with FSB options though.

While most nForce2 boards go up to 200 MHz in 1 MHz increments and 204, 207 and 211 MHz after that, Epox "one up's" everyone else and offers 1 MHz increments all the way up to 250 MHz! That is way above any other manufacturer and as you can see from our overclocking tests using an unlocked AthlonXP we were able to push the board to 214 MHz FSB. For the hardcore overclocker, the 8RDA+ will certainly satisfy your needs!

In Power BIOS Features, we have all our voltage adjustments. CPU Voltage can be raised as high as 2.2V, AGP to 1.8V and the DIMM voltage goes to 2.9V. From an overclockers stand point, personally I would have liked it if Epox were to release a BIOS which allows for up to a 3.2V DIMM voltage.
