Quake III Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS)
that revolutionized gaming as we know it. Using multiple light sources and
having graphics textures that can fill videocards, even after 3 years it's still
able to bring a cutting edge system to its knees.

As we can
see with Quake III Arena, the Metis 266 is not a 3D powerhouse, but the FPS QIII
achieved are pretty respectable considering the videocard, and they
are of course entirely playable.

Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's
multiple 'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine
technology - where graphics, sound and game play are taken beyond the bleeding
edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders
and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of
the game.

UT2003
confirms what Quake III Arena says, the Metis 266 is better suited for office
type work, though if you do want to take some time for gaming it will allow you to do that. Good for
very casual gamers, not really suited for everyday gammers.
