Aiming for the mass markets generally means you get good value with AOpen products, and one such example of this is the AK79G Max nForce2-GT (Crush 18G) motherboard.

Benchmarks: QIII Arena, UT2003
Quake III Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS)
that revolutionized gaming as we know it. Using multiple light sources and
having graphics textures that can fill videocards, even after 3 years it's still
able to bring a cutting edge system to its knees.

Hmm, here
we see the AK79G MAX lags behind the Epox 8RGA+a bit in the demo001 test
and by quite a few frames in the nv15demo which is mainly CPU
limited
.

Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's
multiple 'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine
technology - where graphics, sound and game play are taken beyond the bleeding
edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders
and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of
the game.
UT2003 is a bit kinder towards the AOpen AK79G MAX, here
the motherboard outperforms the Epox 8RGA+ at stock
speeds.
