WinBench 99 is a
subsystem-level benchmark that measures the performance of a PC's graphics,
disk, and video subsystems in a Windows environment. WinBench 99's tests can run
on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows Me
systems.

HDD performance is about the same as previous
motherboards we have tested. Perhaps it's time to upgrade our test Hard Drive to
something a bit better... The results from the Graphics portion of Winbench 99 are
a bit low. Let's take a look at whether that translate into poor 3D
performance.

Wow,
those are the absolutely highest stock numbers we have ever
seen! The AOpen AX4SPE Max performs on par with the reference i865PE motherboard in
Sandra.
