Mol Dyn: Molecular Dynamics is a method for simulating the
thermodynamic behaviour of materials using their forces, velocities, and
positions. Most important of the afore mentioned is the force.
Primordia: This code calculates the Quantum Mechanical Hartree-Fock Orbitals
for each electron in any element of the
periodic table.

Amazingly the AthlonXP 3200+ is able to beat out the
Athlon64 3200+ this portion of ScienceMark.

Sandra is designed to test the
theoretical power of a complete system and
individual components. The numbers taken though are again, purely theoretical
and may not represent real world performance. Higher numbers represent better
performance.

The
Athlon64 3200+ has a lot of Integer and Floating Point power. Scores are not as
high as HT enabled Pentium 4's but it feels more powerful when you're using it.
Memory bandwidth is relatively low but remember the Athlon64 only has one 64 bit
memory controller built into the core. The Athlon64 FX has a dual channel memory
controller.
