AquaMark3 is a powerful tool to determine
reliable information about the gaming performance of a computer
system. Because the benchmark extensively utilizes DirectX9, DirectX8 and
DirectX7 functionality, it represents the requirements of typical gaming
applications in 2003 and 2004.

There seems to be a growing trend here in 3D applications, and
that's the nForce3 150 based Gigabyte K8NNXP is slower than the three VIA
K8T800 based motherboards.
Quake III Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS)
that revolutionized gaming as we know it. Using multiple light sources and
having graphics textures that can fill videocards, even after 3 years it's still
able to bring a cutting edge system to its knees.

In Quake
III Arena the same thing happens here. Stock performance of the board is lower
than that of the K8T800 motherboards slightly.
