Benchmarks: CodeCreatures, AquaMark 2.3
CodeCretures requires a fully compatible DirectX 8
videocard with preferably 128 MB of RAM to store textures. Codecreatures
utilizes vertex as well as pixel shaders to run their tests.
Here in the CodeCreatures benchmark we find that the MSI
RX600XT-TD128 videocard fairs pretty well for itself. It's clearly faster than
nVIDIA's GeForcePCX 5750 mainstream PCI Express chipset.
AquaMark
is another DirectX 8 benchmark. Using vertex shaders, any card that is DirectX8
compatible will not just have a huge speed boost, the image will also look
better. Default test has 24 MB worth of textures.
The MSI
RX600XT-TD128 all the way up to 1280x1024, but anything higher and AquaMark
becomes too choppy.
