Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound and game play are taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of the game.

Even with 4x AA and 16x AF enabled the MSI RX600XT-TD128 is able to perform pretty well, very nice for a mainstream videocard!

Conclusions on the MSI RX600XT-TD128 videocard

The MSI RX600XT-TD128 videocard we tested in this review is a fine mainstream videocard for those of you who like to adopt the newest technology. Performance is good, and you get quite a bit of value for spending $253 CDN ($190 US).

It's amazing just how much software MSI is able to bundle with the videocard. There are three full version games (XIII, URU and Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time), a demo CD, WinDVD software suite and other computer utilities! No one else on the market has included so much software, and still kept the prices down!

The MSI RX600XT-TD128 flew through all the benchmarks we ran, and performed quite well at 1024x768. Higher resolutions might be out of the question depending on the application, but if you find the card a bit slow, simply overclock it. Our particular card was able to hit a very respectable 610 MHz core, and 438 MHz memory. Despite the added stress, the MSI RX600XT-TD128 is completely silent during operation, and you will not hear it when it's installed into a case.

If you're a "bang for the buck" type person, you should make a point of checking out the MSI RX600XT-TD128 while looking for that new PCI Express videocard It comes with a ton of gamesm and is one of the faster mainstream videocards on the market right now.
