Business Winstone 2004 runs real
applications through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC
takes to complete these activities to produce its performance scores.

We are actually surprised to
see the Centon GEMiNi PC3200 perform faster than the Corsair TwinX1024-3200XL
PRO at stock speeds! Overclocking does give a slight boost, though the
difference in actual processor speed was minimal.

At stock speeds the Corsair and Centon memory have
the same bandwidth which is not surprising. Overclocked, the memory falls just short of
the 7k barrier but that's not bad at all.
The latest version of the popular PCMark series,
PCMark04 is an application-based benchmark and a premium tool for measuring
overall PC performance. It uses portions of real applications instead of
including whole applications or using specifically created code. This allows
PCMark04 to maintain a smaller installation size while still giving accurate
results.

The stock
PCMark04 scores are very nice indeed,
and it's good to see that Centon is doing well so far with its first attempt at enthusiast-grade
memory.
