With the processor running at approximately the same speed, we shouldn't be surprised
to see that all three scores are so close. The increased memory bandwidth does boost
things nicely though, which is good if you're looking for that last ounce of
performance.
3DMark05 is the latest version of the highly
favoured 3DMark graphics benchmarking series. It is the first benchmark to
require DirectX®9.0 compliant hardware with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or
higher.

Corsair is one of the best companies when it comes to enthusiast calibre
memory, and the Centon GEMiNi gives its product a good run for the money here!
A completely rewritten 3D engine based on DirectX8
encompasses many visual effects such as volumetric Nebulae (gas clouds) that
have a real impact in the game (you can hide in them) and many new engine,
shield, weapon and explosion effects. Objects cast real dynamic 3D shadows!
Dynamic DP3 bump mapping allows a previously unseen level of detail.

Things are very close
in X2: The Threat, and again we see a slight benefit from overclocking.
