3DMark05 is the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark graphics benchmarking series. It is the first benchmark to require DirectX®9.0 compliant hardware with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher.

The Asus A8N-SLI Premium does very well in 3DMark05. both when using the X800 XT and GeForce 6600GT cards in SLI. The Foxconn WinFast NF4SK8AA-8KRS comes out with the best SLI benchmark results though.

Comanche 4	Source: Novalogic

The Comanche 4 benchmark demo is a unique test as it represents a real-world gaming experience. It contains the single player "Eagle's Talon" mission from the game as well as a detailed cinematic. This DirectX 8.1 benchmark demo will measure your system's performance in the standard frames per second format. The benchmark was run with audio disabled.

Perhaps it is time to drop Comanche 4 from PCSTATS' benchmark suite as it can no longer tell the difference between systems. Framerates here are all within 2-3FPS of each other, at least you know what you can get when you go Athlon64. ;)
