PCMark05 is more of an overall system benchmark, and in
this case the ECS 945G-M3 is a bit slower than the other motherboards. Not
surprising, as the onboard videocard eats up a bit of memory bandwidth. Please
note that the past few office-based benchmarks are being run on the integrated
Intel GAM950 videocard as it has no impact in the 2D graphics environment. When
the tables turn to 3D games, the situation changes drastically...

The onboard Intel GMA 950 is not a powerful 3D videocard
(2D office-type work is a breeze) and we were a little surprised to see it
loaded 3DMark05 actually... When a stand along GeForce 7800GTX is installed in
the PCI Express x16 slot, the ECS 945G-M3 motherboard is just as fast as the
competition.
