Business Winstone 2004 runs real
applications through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC
takes to complete these activities to produce its performance
scores.
Content
Creation Winstone 2004 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that
measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based, 32-bit,
content creation applications in Windows XP.

Office Productivity numbers are also very good, as you
can see the difference between a high end and entry level motherboard Intel
Pentium D 840 based system is pretty slim in this type of test. When using a
Pentium D processor, performance is lower than an Athlon64 system but nothing
can catch the Core 2 Duo/Biostar TForce P965 Deluxe motherboard combo.

The processor numbers are in line with the other Pentium
D 840 test systems. Memory bandwidth numbers are suprisingly just 100MB/s higher
than most of the other systems, despite running with faster memory (DDR2-800
instead of DDR2-667). Core 2 Duo numbers are significantly higher than the other
systems, nothing is even close.
SuperPI
calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching
benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that
can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1
Million digits and 19 iterations.

When using the Pentium D 840, Super Pi times are at the
same as the other motherboards. Use a Core 2 Duo processor and the test is
finished in half the time!
