PCMark05 is a premium tool for measuring both normal home use and simple 3D performance of the latest PC hardware. There are 11 system tests - each one is designed to represent a certain type of PC usage. By running these tests, PCMark05 stresses the components in a similar manner as they are stressed in normal home usage.

With the Pentium D processor the overall, CPU and memory score are all in line with what we would expect. The Core 2 Duo equipped Biostar TForce P965 is able to outscore every other system.

All the overall scores are about the same but we see the Biostar TForce P965 Deluxe motherboard kit some butt in the CPU portion of the test. Nice numbers with the Pentium D, even nicer numbers with the Core 2 Duo.
