The Intel GMA950 videocard is entirely unsuitable for gaming. The DirectX 9.0C support is going to be invaluable for Microsoft Vista's upcoming 'Aeroglass' interface however. With a standalone Geforce 7800GTX the Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2 handles the 3D game tests at levels which are on par to the P965 Express based platforms.

Real-time editing, bump mapping, static lights, network system, integrated physics system, shaders, shadows, and a dynamic music system are just some of the state of-the-art features that the CryENGINE offers. The game was set to Ultra quality and the Ubisoft's Regulator demo was run.

Memory bandwidth affects the FarCry framerates slightly with the standalone videocard installed into the Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2 motherboard. At higher resolutions, it might be enough for gamers to notice a lag. The Intel GMA950 onboard videocard fails this test miserably.
