CD Winbench 99 |
Source: Zdnet |
The CD Winbench99 benchmark runs a series of
scripted programs from a special CD in the drive and measures the speed of the
data transfer. Higher numbers mean better performance.
The AOpen DSW1812P does fairly well here in CD Winbench
99, and its results are about par for the course. The benchmark may be 7
years old, but there hasn't been a new much in the way of new optical drive specific tests and
this one still does a good job as far as CD-ROMs are concerned.
