The motherboard is based on the nVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition chipsets (nForce 590 SLI SPP and nForce 590 SLI MCP), so it supports a whole host of multi-videocard gaming arrangements.

ECS colour
coordinates the DDR2 DIMM slots so you know which slots to occupy, to
enable dual channel memory support. The parallel IDE and main 24 pin ATX
power connector are to the right of the memory. The nForce 590SLI chipset
is situated next to the CPU socket at
left.

The ECS PN1
SLI2 Extreme accomodates Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and
other models running on a 1066/800/533 Front Side Bus. The ESP12V connector
may be a bit difficult to reach, it is located just behind the
PS/2 ports in the upper right corner.

There is no heatsink mounted on
to the power MOSFETs of the PN1 SLI2 motherboard. If you plan on
doing some overclocking, you might want to put some heatsinks on here to
keep the power regulators cool. The motherboard is compatible with ESP12V
and ATX12V power connectors.
