PCMark05
is a premium tool for measuring both normal home use and simple 3D performance
of the latest PC hardware. There are 11 system tests - each one is designed to
represent a certain type of PC usage. By running these tests, PCMark05 stresses
the components in a similar manner as they are stressed in normal home usage.

It's interesting that the GeForce 6150 based Albatron
KM51PV-AM2 board has better memory scores than the Biostar TF7050-M2
motherboard in the memory portion of PCMark05. On the whole the new GeForce
7050PV chipset seems to make a platform that is just a bit quicker than
AMD's compelling 690G chipset.
3DMark06
is the worldwide standard in advanced 3D game performance benchmarking. A
fundamental tool for every company in the PC industry as well as PC users and
gamers, 3DMark06 uses advanced real-time 3D game workloads to measure PC
performance using a suite of DirectX 9 3D graphics tests, CPU tests, and 3D
feature tests. 3DMark06 tests include all new HDR/SM3.0 graphics tests, SM2.0
graphics tests, AI and physics driven single and multiple cores or processor CPU
tests and a collection of comprehensive feature tests to reliably measure next
generation gaming performance today.

Obviously there's no impact when running the CPU portion
of 3DMark06 between the integrated videocard and stand alone PCI Express
solution. Across the platforms, the FX-60 and X2 5000+ score virtually the same
in this test. The new nVIDIA GeForce 7050 videocard scores 292,
the AMD 690G (a.k.a. Radeon X1250) scores between 272 and 285 and the 6150
between 189 and 197. The performance difference between the GeForce 7050PV and
AMD 690G is visible but negligible.
