3DMark06 test results are likewise pretty fuzzy. The
Mushkin HP3-10666 RAM doesn't seem to be able to eek out a performance lead,
even though it can run tight timings.
Doom 3
takes advantage of the latest videocard technology and pushes the processing
power of the CPU to its absolute limit. At its highest setting, Ultra quality,
texture sizes pass the 500MB mark which means even tomorrow's videocards will
have a hard time running everything. The frame rates in the game itself are
locked at 60 fps so anything above that point is wasted. Each test is run three
times with the third run being recorded.

Here we see the Mushkin HP3-10666 memory come out on top,
this is thanks to its ability to run tight timings no doubt. Even when the
memory and system are heavily overclocked, the computer has a hard time beating
the stock configuration with tight memory timings!

FEAR is
Sierra's latest first person shooter which relies heavily on DirectX 9 features.
With its "Soft Shadows" feature enabled, even the fastest videocards run at a
crawl, FEAR is definitely the new benchmark for future FPS games to
follow.

The framerate results from the Mushkin HP3-10666 DDR3
memory is pretty good. Once again low latency RAM leads the pack at stock
speeds. If you're building a fast system look past the hype, take a close look
at what memory timings the DIMMs can run at.
